Development Specialist (Part-Time)

Animal Fix Clinic is a nonprofit surgical clinic for cats and dogs. Our mission is to make high-quality veterinary care accessible to all. Since 1998, we’ve performed nearly 60,000 necessary and life-saving surgeries for community cats and pets across the Bay Area.

We run lean, stay focused on patients, and use donor support to keep surgery within reach for animals who might otherwise go without.

About the Role

As our first Development Specialist, you will play a key role in elevating Animal Fix Clinic’s systems and processes for developing and expanding donor relationships.  This is a hands-on role: not just about strategy and concept, but execution.  You will be evaluated based on the actual dollars your work brings in.  We envision this role growing to a full-time position as our fundraising grows: a successful candidate will ensure their own career growth within the organization.

Animal Fix Clinic just moved into our new, larger home.  This role will be instrumental to expanding our service offering and capacity: increase the number of days our clinic is open, hire more staff, and expand the kinds of services we can offer to the community.
