OUR COMMUNITY CAT TNR PACKAGE
Animal Fix Clinic is dedicated to improving the lives of community cats and managing the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).
TNR is critical to stabilize the population of community cats by breaking the cycle of reproduction. Community cats produce around 80% of the kittens born in the US each year - By treating the problem at its source, TNR is the most effective and most humane method against the crisis in our overflowing animal shelters.
Fixing community cats also improves their lives significantly! Mating behaviors that come along with unsterilized cats are reduced: roaming, yowling, spraying, and fighting. Spay/neuter also reduces or eliminates the risk of various infectious diseases spread during the mating process, uterine infections, breast cancer, testicular cancer, and more.
Since 2014, Animal Fix Clinic has spayed or neutered over 30,000 community cats.
Do you have a community cat you want to help?
Our low-cost TNR package for community cats is $45 and includes the following:
spay or neuter surgery
rabies and FVRCP vaccines
parasite treatment
an ear tip
a microchip
Ear tips are mandatory for community cats - the tip lets others know that this cat is already sterilized and saves the effort and stress of trapping and transporting a cat that’s already been altered.
We serve community cats from around the East Bay! We can also help with many other surgical procedures for community cats.
