Add One Day, Add One Thousand Surgeries aims to expand surgical capacity so more animals receive timely, lifesaving care. At Animal Fix Clinic, Add One Day, Add One Thousand Surgeries is more than a campaign, it’s a roadmap to reduce wait times and treat more animals when it matters the most.
2025, was a momentum growth year where we treated nearly 7,000 patients. Adding a second surgeon on Sundays, enabled us to complete more than 1,000+ additional surgeries beyond our usual capacity. With rising veterinary costs, affordable, preventative surgery is financially unattainable for many. Yet, at Animal Fix Clinic, we keep care accessible while maintaining an exemplary standard of care.
Each week, our small clinical team performs nearly 150 surgeries per week, some routine spay/neuter, and other life-saving surgery who come to us as a last resort. We are already operating at full capacity, however the demand for our services continues to grow. Meeting that demand means we can treat more animals.
Adding 50 extra surgical days allows us to care for 1,000+ more animals.
The Goal
Add One Day, Add One Thousand Surgeries launched in November 2025, inspired by the incredible impact of adding a second surgeon on Sundays to our clinic. Our organization’s long-term goal is to expand to a full 7- days a week clinic, ensuring care is always available.
