HEATHER ALLEWELT

Heather is a pediatric oncologist and a medical director for a biotechnology company working to develop new therapies for cancer. Her passion is animal rescue and welfare, and she is especially committed to advocacy for pitbull-type dogs, senior animal rescue, and spaying/neutering to combat overpopulation.

Heather and her family relocated to the Bay Area in 2020 and have volunteered and fundraised for various local animal rescue and advocacy organizations. She has 4 dogs and 2 cats and has also fostered several dogs and kittens.
