KRISTA WIRTH
Krista Wirth is a law student specializing in animal law. She is particularly passionate about One Health and One Welfare issues involving the human-animal bond, including access to affordable veterinary care and pet-inclusive housing. Before law school, she taught science at her alma mater, San Jose State University, where she studied biology as a first-gen student. She has experience in areas including animal law, accessibility, animal care and rehabilitation, animal-assisted therapy, disaster response, and community and global health.
Krista also volunteers with San Jose Animal Care and Services, where she enjoys socializing dogs.
She lives in San Jose with her Doberman rescue, Rayna.
