JORIE GABRYSIAK

Jorie is a senior surgical veterinary assistant with a passion for palliative and hospice veterinary care. She has spent most of her career at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, providing compassionate support to senior dogs. Prior to that, she worked at the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary Working Dog Center, focusing on the rehabilitation of tactical canines. Jorie is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy with a specialization in animal welfare, combining her hands-on experience with research and policy development to improve the lives of animals and those who care for them.

Jorie lives in the Bay Area with her four beloved hospice dogs.
