Over 4,600 animals fixed this year. Come see how.
Almost a year ago, we moved into our Pinole clinic. The extra space has enabled us to increase our capacity. More than 4,600 animals have already come through surgery here in 2025, compared to 3,900 at this point last year.
This month, you will find us out in the community, running our silent auction, and opening our doors for a look inside the surgery suite.
Solano Stroll (Sunday, Sept 14)
Board members will be at Booth 1494 on Solano Avenue (between Curtis and Santa Fe) for the Bay Area’s biggest street fair. Stop by and say hello.
Joybound Around Town on Broadway (Sunday, Sept 14)
Board members will also be at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek from 11 AM to 4 PM. Come find our table and say hello.
Silent Auction (Sept 20 to 27)
Our silent auction runs Sept 20 to 27 and concludes at our Open House. Bid on items, or Fund a Need by covering an essential clinic expense like HVAC repairs, funds for a new washer, or anesthesia machine upkeep.
Open House (Saturday, Sept 27, 12 to 5 PM, Pinole)
Most days, 30 to 40 animals move through surgery and recovery here. On Sept 27 you can tour the clinic, see where the surgeries happen, and meet the staff who keep it running. Stop by Cat Man Bingo with Adam Myatt, enjoy snacks and drinks, and catch the end of the silent auction.
From the clinic
In recent weeks, we treated Coco for a mammary mass, Snowy for a painful ear hematoma, and Hiero for large skin tumors. Taz, a seven-year-old cat, came in needing a cystotomy for a bladder stone.
Support from Petco Love, Grey Muzzle, and individual donors covered the costs so each of them could get care here.
Out in the community
Lara lives on a cul-de-sac in Pittsburg crowded with stray cats.
“We have so many neighborhood cats on our little cul-de-sac in Pittsburg that it was starting to get overwhelming. Finding the clinic has been game changing for us. Each time we bring someone home from being fixed we know us and our neighbors will be much happier, humans and cats alike.” - Lara K.
Caretakers across the Bay Area tell us the same thing. This is why TNR matters.
Every week, animals come through our doors for surgeries: some routine and some urgent. They get treated here because people choose to back this clinic.
We hope to see you at the Open House on Sept 27. If you cannot make it, we will share highlights on Facebook and Instagram.
PS
Monthly donors keep the work steady. As a thank you, we will send you a tote bag. You will probably see plenty at the Open House.
